The fifth clue was the toughest so far. Excavated in South Boston by a team of three determined Stone players, Carlos, Amaris, and rmsss. Together they beat the ground, the wind, the snow, and the odds!
Carlos was one of several players who had locate
Strength in Numbers Carlos reported his efforts to the Playing Community on The Commons message boards. After comparing notes with fellow near-Boston players rmsss and Amaris, an excavation team was formed. On a cold February weekend, the stage was set. Cold Digging, Pizza, and a Movie Well, you can only dig for so many hours. And even though they didn't locate the clue that Saturday, they did get along. A couple slices and a matinee were needed to soothe the spirit. Though Carlos, Amaris, and rmsss had yet to make their discovery, each made several trips back the following week to clear further patches of snow. The Prospect Hill Park Staff showed some concern for these strange people digging, but were very supportive through it all. Friday came, and so did the surprise. Rmsss Makes A Discovery rmsss had reasoned that the clue might be found in the trees, and began her search there. After scouting the area further, she dug some more... and she hit something. A bright green object wrapped with an elastic band. It was, however, quite frozen in the ground and would not come out. The Park Staff obliged rmsss' requests for hot water, and she was able to use the phones to call Amaris and Carlos. Amaris was quickly on the scene and got tough with the buried package, forcefully popping it out of the ground. Carlos arrived shortly after and the hard working team celebrated the successful adventure!
What Was Revealed? Part of the side? Part of the top? Time will tell...
Amaris, rmsss, and Carlos will be receiving a selection of StoneGear among other rewards for their efforts. Working together they found The Spirit of The Journey!
