Abject Modernity Internet Creations Inc. (Abject) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality and security of personal information which Abject collects during the course of doing business with you in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada) and this privacy policy. This privacy policy forms a part of your Membership Agreement with Abject and may be amended from time to time in accordance with section 25 of the Membership Agreement. Abject does not sell personal information to third parties and through contractual means, Abject imposes on any third party receiving personal information the obligation to maintain the personal information in accordance with this policy.

Abject has implemented this privacy policy in accordance with the privacy principles set out in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act in Canada in handling personal information. In accordance with the Children.s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 of the United States, Abject will not knowingly request personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior, verifiable parental consent. If Abject becomes aware that an individual who is under the age of 13 has provided any such information or has saved information to our web site, we will remove his/her personal information from our files.

The information Abject collects about you upon entering this site and in doing business with you includes the following:

You are required to choose a User ID, a password of at least 5 characters long to enter the site, your mother.s maiden name (which we will ask you for if you lose your password), and your email address. We require this information so that you can access our site, so that we can allow you entry if you lose your password and to correspond with you through email. At your option, you may provide us your first and last name, civic address, postal code, date of birth, gender, phone number, fax number. If you provide us with that information, we will use it in anonymous form to generate demographic data used for marketing purposes by us, and in the event we have advertisers, by them. No additional information is provided to our advertisers.

Optionally, you may provide us with additional information about you, such as your favourite band or musician, favourite movie, location of birth place, favourite subject in school, favourite puzzle or video game, and who is the most significant living person in the world today. We may use this information in anonymous form to generate demographic data used for marketing purposes by us, and in the event we have advertisers, by them. . If we provide any such information to third parties, it will be in anonymous form.

Your internet protocol address (IP) is used in anonymous form to gather broad demographic information used for marketing purposes by us, and in the event we have advertisers, by them and for no other use.

Our site uses cookies to make sure you do not see any ads repeatedly and to provide you with quicker access to the site by saving your User ID and password. Cookie information is not given to any third party.

The Stone game site has a message board available to its users. Any information that is disclosed in this area becomes public information and is not subject to this privacy policy. You should use your discretion and exercise caution in posting any personal information on our message board. Abject disclaims any liability whatsoever for any misuse of your personal information by others arising from your use of such message board.

Abject may receive payment for membership fees via credit card payment through secure third party payment processors. Upon completion of the payment processing, we immediately thereafter erase from our systems any credit card information you have provided. We have imposed confidentiality obligations on our third party payment processor. The third party payment processor is also restricted to using your credit card information solely for the purpose of processing payment for your membership.
Our Policies and Procedures

Generally, Abject may provide your personal information to other persons:

Abject has established clear procedures for maintaining and protecting personal information under our control. Security safeguards and procedures have been established which are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to ensure that it is not inappropriately disclosed. In particular, sensitive information, such as credit card information, is protected by secure sites and passwords with access restricted to our employees on a .need to know. basis.

On request, unless prohibited by law, you will be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of your information and you will be given access to that information. You will be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended if appropriate.
